Alvin David Mauck Jr., 33, of Edinburg, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center. The funeral will be held Wednesday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. at First Church of Columbia Furnace. Pastor Brian Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Mauck was born March 20, 1981 in Shenandoah County, son of Linda Sue Wilson of Woodstock and the late Alvin David Mauck Sr. He was self-employed and a member of Edinburg VFW Post #2447.
Alvin Is survived by his mother Linda and her fiancé Roy Barb of Woodstock; daughter Ashlyn Dawn Mauck of Stephens City; fiancée Kathy Humphries of Edinburg and her children Donnie Rice of Winchester, Brandy Humphries of Edinburg and Lori Humphries of Woodstock; sister Shawna Racey and husband Rick and son Jeremy of Edinburg; brother Jared Wilson and fiancée Crystal Stickley of Maurertown; step brothers and sisters, David Wilson of Harrisonburg, Chandra Sanders and husband Randy of Bridgewater, Wesley Wilson and wife Nukütt of Japan, Laci Wilson and fiancé Sam Martin of New Hampshire and Mike Jenkins (deceased); step mother, Debbie Mauck of Woodstock and step father Warren Wilson of Mathias, WV. and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Scott, Darrin Gray, Shelby Hanson, Chuck Jefferies, Davey Ferguson, Wesley Clark and David Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers will be VFW Post #2447 Commander Hal Sharpe and VFW Men’s Aux.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
