Archibald Burgess (Terry, KneeHi) Hughes

Archibald Burgess (Terry, KneeHi) Hughes, III 55 of Edinburg, died Thursday, January 26, 2012.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, 1:00 PM at the Columbia Furnace United Methodist Church by Pastor Dave M. Casto. Burial will be private.

Mr. Hughes was born May 9, 1956 at Washington, DC. He was the son of the late Archibald B. Hughes, Jr. and Eldena Patricia Coffelt Hughes Scanlon. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Archibald B. Hughes, Sr. and Jennie Hughes and Melvin and Lena Coffelt, and a niece, Monica Singer.

He is survived by five sisters, Karen Zirk and husband, Scott, Alice Miduch, Pam Baber and husband, Scott, all of Edinburg, Kathy Bonner and husband Barry of Woodbridge and Patricia Collins and husband, Matt of Colonial Beach; several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral expenses of Archibald B. Hughes, III c/o Karen Zirk, 1899 Ridge Hollow Rd. Edinburg, VA 22824.
