Betty Frances Foltz Stultz went to be with her loving Lord on September 21, 2013 surrounded by her devoted family at her home in Woodstock, Virginia. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Pastors Joe Fleming and Mary Louise Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.
Betty was born October 3, 1938 in Woodstock, to Charles Loring Foltz, Sr. and Mary Catherine Mauck Foltz. On August 30, 1957, Betty married the love of her life, Robert L. (Bobby) Stultz. They shared 56 wonderful years together.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela S. Green, and husband, Billy, of Woodstock and her precious grandchildren, Loren Clarke Fogle and wife Cristy of Edinburg and Mary Catherine Green of Woodstock, and sister Jean Lutz, Tarpon Springs, Florida, special niece Lori Orndorff as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded by her sisters, Ruth M. Orndorff and Joyce A. Reames, and brothers Charles L. (Buddy) Jr., Lewis H, and Beverly (Tommy) Foltz.
Betty graduated from Woodstock High School in 1957. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at Fairview where she served as the Nursery Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent. Betty was a Charter and Life Member of the Woodstock Rescue Squad Auxiliary where she served as the first Auxiliary President. She also served as the state Chaplain of the Women’s Auxiliary to the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads. Betty was employed at the former Winsor Knit factory in Edinburg and Aileen in Woodstock and most recently retired from Sheetz.
Pallbearers will be her nephews: Charlie Lutz, Jimmy Orndorff, Wayne Orndorff, Eugene Orndorff, Billy Reames, and Donnie Lutz. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Good, Wade Feller, Joe Nicely, Mike Kline, Colon Mumaw, and Larry Mumaw. The Woodstock High School class of 1957, Java with Jesus, and Bible Study with attend as a group.
The family will receive friends today (Monday) from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
