Billy Garlan Sigler

Billy Garlan Sigler, 81, of New Market and formally of Knoxville, Tennessee died Friday, September 21, 2012 at Life Care Center of New Market.

He was born December 29, 1930 in Shenandoah County, son of the late Ray William and Ina Lucille Moomaw Sigler.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Messina of Delmont, Pennsylvania; two sisters Shirley Getz of Timberville and Beatrice Richcreek of Edinburg; a granddaughter, Crystal Herbison; and a great-grandson, Landon Herbison.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Heishman.

Private graveside services at Grace Church Cemetery will be at a later date.

Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson
