Blanton Winship Anderson, 75 of Gore, died Monday, January 17, 2011.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011, 1:00 PM at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Edinburg Congregation by Elder George DeLorenzo. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till time of the service. Burial will be at the Detrick Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born on August 31, 1935 at Washington, DC. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, West Winchester Congregation.
He was preceded in death by a son Tony Anderson.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Evelyn Anderson, three sons, Charles, Roger, and Blanton Anderson; a daughter, Susan Pultz; two step daughters, that he loved dearly, Sandy Anderson and Margaret McQuain; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, William Cogswell, Allen Daly, James Reynolds, Mikey Pultz, and Chas Anderson. His daughter, Susan Pultz and great granddaughters, Hailey Carroll and Braelyn Cogswell will escort Mr. Anderson to his final resting place.
