Carol Ann Caldwell Dryden

Carol Ann Caldwell Dryden 73 of Edinburg died Thursday, March 7, 2013.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 11 and Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock from 6 to 9 pm.

She was born in Oil City, PA on February 19, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Ruth Hoffman Reed.  Carol was an employee that accompanied Automotive Industries Corp from Pennsylvania to Strasburg, VA in the 70’s. She eventually moved into a management roll position and retired from the Lear Seating Corp., Detroit, MI. in 1997.

Mrs. Dryden was preceded in death by a son, Harold Lee Caldwell.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Alecia Ann Beatty; a brother, Wayne Reed; grandsons, Hunter Peer, Tyler Peer, Christopher Caldwell; granddaughters, Nikki Caldwell, and Kristina Caldwell.

    So sad to hear this news. Carol was a dear friend to me and my family. She always had a smile on her face and the greatest attitude on this earth. Carol and I worked together at Automotive Industries when she moved from VA to MI. I showed her where all the shopping malls were and she was in 7th Heaven.
