Carolyn Arebba Crabill

Carolyn Arebba Crabill, 72, of Maurertown, passed away at her home.  A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock. A memorial service will follow at Grace Baptist Church in Woodstock at 3:00.  Pastor Ken Sparks will officiate.

Mrs. Crabill was born September 22, 1942 in Frederick County, daughter of the late Hetzel and Virginia Wetzel Kerns.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Allen Crabill; sister, Lorraine Henson and brothers, Elwood Kerns and John Kerns.

She is survived by her son, Aaron K. Crabill of Capon Bridge, WV; daughter, Tami C. Olling of South Korea; sister, Geraldine Jenkins of Middletown; brother, Howard Kerns of Stephens City; three grandchildren and one great grandson.

    You were the closest thing to my Mom I had. Her voice, her smile, her laugh, and her faith. I still read the cards I have and always look at the bottom to see if it’s from you or Mom. May you finally have the peace you deserve and know that you will be missed and forever loved.

      Thank you for your kind words. I just finally cut out my mom’s obituary from the newspapers tonight and saw the mention of leaving online condolences. I just checked and found sweet messages. Missing her…still kind of unreal. God bless!
