Charles “Champ” Wills

Charles “Champ” Wills, 70 of Woodstock, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home. He was born January 25, 1945, son of the late Stanley and Mae Wills.

Charles was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Johns Manville.

Charles is survived by his wife, Marie Duncan Wills; a son Todd Wills and daughter, Marcy Selby; 4 grandchildren, Colten Wills, Corey Wills, Emma Selby, and Josiah Selby; 4 siblings; Gary Wills, Edith Wiley, Kitty Hines, and Debbie Barrick. Charlie is also survived by his faithful dog, Weezy.

Charlie made friends wherever he went and he especially enjoyed attending local auctions and visiting with friends and family members around town. He was a good guy and would do anything for anybody. We will miss him dearly, but will remember him forever.

A memorial Service officiated by Pastor Brian Duncan at First Church of Columbia Furnace will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of Columbia Furnace.

Friends can call at the home at anytime.
