Crista Ann Borden Haun

Crista Ann Borden Haun, 52, of Toms Brook, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ Cemetery near Toms Brook.  Pastor Joe Fleming will officiate.

Mrs Haun was born September 18, 1960 in Winchester, VA daughter of Wayne and Sarah Keller Borden of Maurertown, Va.  She was a 1979 graduate of Strasburg High School.  She was formerly employed with Blue Bell, Aileen, Georges and Wal-Mart.  She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ at Harrisville, VA.

Surviving, along with her parents are, two daughters, Katherine Haun and life companion Joe Leonard of Edinburg and Joanna Marie Haun and fiancé Stephen Meadows of Toms Brook and Crista’s companion, Jaime Calderon.  She is also survived by a brother, Cliston Borden and wife, Geraldine (Dean) and their children, (Bo), Katey, and Cody, all of Winchester.

Crista loved her dogs, Droopy and Carley.  She was a lovely, good hearted, hard working person who will be sadly missed.
