Crystal Gail Neff Wakeman

Crystal Gail Neff Wakeman, 42, of Toms Brook, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at home.  The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Wakeman’s Grove Church of the Brethren.  Pastors Mark Bowyer and Duke McCaffery will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Crystal was born September 9, 1972 in Woodstock, daughter of Ronald Neff of Winchester and the late Barbara McDonald Putman.  She was a 1989 graduate of Strasburg High School and received A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bridgewater College.  She was a hospitality aide at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock.  She was a member of Wakeman’s Grove Church where she was a Junior High Advisor and a Deaconess.  She was a home school teacher and member of HSLDA.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Terry N. Wakeman Sr.; six children, Terry Nelson Wakeman Jr. and wife Katie of Woodstock, Casey Carper and husband Matthew of New Market, Austin Clides Wakeman, Connor Morgan Wakeman, Georgia Kendall Wakeman and Ella Ireland Wakeman all at home; and one grandson, Clayton Richard Carper.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Neff, Terry Nelson Wakeman Jr., Matthew Carper, Adam Zirkle, Keith Zirkle and Phil Burner.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wakeman’s Grove Church of the Brethren Youth Band,
