Cynthia Ann Mauck Williams

Cynthia Ann Mauck Williams 53 of Woodstock died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Winchester Medical Center.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Cynthia was born November 11, 1959 in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Oby  Brancen and Helen  Edna Lambert Mauck. She was also preceded in death by her uncle, Mike Lambert.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Krystal Knafel of Woodstock; her son, Joshua Knafel: a sister, Theresa Anderson of Woodstock; her five grandchildren, Kaylin, Kevin, and Kollin Jenkins, all of Woodstock, Gavin Knafel of Woodstock and Hayden Frame of Staunton and her aunt Patsy Lee Mauck Hoffman and her daughters, Rhonda Marie Hoffman Hendricks and Denise Ann Hoffman Monteleone.

    I spent a lot of time with Cindy in the last 5 years – mainly via phone – and we had some long, deep discussions. I will miss her so much.

    I don’t know Josh that much but her daughter has a special place in my heart – right along with Cindy.

    Cindy was nice person,haven’t seen her in a long time since she left Fl,thought about her a lot but I couldn’t find her number.I was so surprised and Sad when David Knafel told me that she was in the hospital and not doing good.I thought she was very nice person and fun to be around,we we’re pregnant together with our first daughters.I wish her and her family the best and May God Bless you all for losing her,but she’s watching over you ever step you take.Fly high Cindy you’ve gone home where there is no sorrow or pain.
