Delores Ann Kagey

Delores Ann Kagey, 73 of Mt. Jackson, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Kagey was born July 10, 1938 in Bird Haven, daughter of the late Medford “Dick” Eugene and Mary Marie Walker Hansberger.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Basye.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph W. Kagey; a daughter, Michele Smith and her husband Bev. of Edinburg; a son, Michael Kagey and his wife Lora of New Market; two sisters, Paula Neff of Woodstock and Mary Lou Baker of Broadway; a brother, Paquas Hansberger of Mt. Jackson; six grandchildren, B. J. Smith, Brittany Smith, Ryan Smith, Lacey Kagey, Leigha Kagey,and Lucas Kagey; a step granddaughter, Mary Lloyd; a great granddaughter, Danika Pieratt; and four step great grandchildren, Drew, Julia, Drake and Jaelynn.

Mrs. Kagey was predeceased by a sister, Kay Reedy.

Private family graveside services will be at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
