Donald Ray Lineweaver

Donald Ray Lineweaver, 70 of Star Tannery passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center. A graveside service will be held Monday June 6, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Reverend Jonathan Fletcher will officiate.

Donald was born September 23, 1945 in Woodstock. He was the son of the late Gilbert and Katherine Clowser Lineweaver. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Strasburg Moose Lodge # 403. He retired from Henkle Harris as a machinist. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Mitchel.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Rush Lineweaver; a daughter, Melody Jenkins and husband Jimmie of Toms Brook, a sister, Ailon Hollingsworth of Woodstock; 2 brothers, Ed Lineweaver of Alexandria and Frank Lineweaver of Manassas; 2 grandchildren, Shanell Jenkins and Significant Other, Jeremy Crider of Mt. Jackson and Jimmie Jenkins Jr. and wife Kim of Edinburg; 2 great grandchildren, Rylee and Chelsee Jenkins of Edinburg. He is also survived by his lovable dog Dazy and his kitties.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Center at Winchester Medical Center 1840 Amherst St. Winchester, Virginia 22601 or The Shenandoah County Animal Shelter 268 Landfill Road Edinburg, Virginia 22824.

    Grandad “Weaver”,
    We miss you so much. We’re happy you’re not in paina anymore and hope that you are up there with Dutchess and Bridgette and all the other doggies and kitties.
