Elizabeth Richmond Siever, 90 of Mt. Jackson, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.
Mrs. Siever was born March 26, 1926, in Panther, West Virginia, daughter of the late Charlie Ernest and Nancy Cline Richmond.
She was a member of Brighter Days Bible Church in Mt. Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Siever.
Mrs. Siever is survived by a daughter, Shirley A. Patton of Mt. Jackson; a sister, Hattie Fadely of Mt. Jackson; two grandchildren, Debra D. (Chuck) Houser and Gary A. Rhinehart, Jr. (Sharon); five great grandchildren, Summer G. S. (Aaron) Baker, Joshua A. (Brand)i Rhinehart, Trent G.(Mary) Semones and Jenny M. Smith; five great great grandchildren, Lucas C. Semones, Dakota G. Baker, Brianna G. Semones, Hayden B. Smith and Landry A. Rhinehart; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a great grandchild, Jesse A. Rhinehart, six brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service will be Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with Pastor Glen Turner and Pastor Larry Rinard officiating. Burial will follow at Caplinger Cemetery in Criders, VA.
Pallbearers will be Joshua A. Rhinehart, Trent G. Semones, Lucas C. Semones, Dakota G. Baker, Aaron L. Baker and William “Pye-Yoe” Fadely.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary A. Rhinehart, Jr., Chuck Houser, Kenneth Fadely, Jerry Lee Wealthy, Michael Wimer, Charles Wealthy, John G. Semones III, Al Asbury and Andy Whitmer.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
