Eugene Loring Orndorff

Eugene Loring Orndorff, 63, of Toms Brook, died Friday, July 15, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Orndorff was born December 9, 1952 in Woodstock, son of the late Robert Monroe and Ruth Marcella Foltz Orndorff.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barb Orndorff whom he married April 22, 1972.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher M. and his wife (Penny A.) Orndorff of Woodstock and Brian Lee Orndorff of Toms Brook; a brother, Wayne Orndorff and his wife Debra of Ft. Valley; a sister-in-law, Judy Orndorff of Winchester; two grandchildren, C.J. Orndorff and Jacob Orndorff both of Woodstock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Orndorff and Larry Orndorff.

Mr. Orndorff had been employed at Bowman Apple Products, Inc. in Mt. Jackson, Chemstone in Strasburg and Avtex in Front Royal.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Woodstock Christian Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Erbach officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.

Cremation arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.

    We knew it was coming but still so hard to believe. I have so many great memories with Eugene and our hunting and fishing times together. I will miss him very much and will never forget this wonderful man. Rest in peace brother and I’ll see you on the other side.
