<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, 1:00 pm at St. Luke Brethren Church by Rev. Freddie Helsley. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">James was born in Fairfax County on April 3, 1967, the son of Charles C. and Patricia Ann Hackley McCauley. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">He is survived along with his parents, by his wife, Mary Ann McCauley; two sons, Wesley and Jonathan Foster; a brother, Charles T. McCauley; numerous cousins and friends.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The family will receive friends one hour before the service at St. Luke Brethren Church.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Pallbearers will be Jeff Bushong, Kevin Wetzel, Rick Markell, Joe Kniceley, Jimmy Reedy, and Bobby Ship. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Honorary pallbearers will the Breakfast Club of Walker’s Store.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: 9.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">John Golden Bullock, Sr., age 89, of Woodstock, Virginia died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Winchester Medical Center.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">Mr. Bullock was born August 4, 1923 in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, the son of John P. and Maude (Annie) Bowles Bullock.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He was a graduate of Margaret Brent High School class of <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>’43.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Mr. Bullock served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 4.5pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-left: 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">Mr. Bullock was an owner and operator of several dry cleaning establishments for over 50 years.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He was a member for many years of the Lion’s Club, American Legion, and found great comfort in his Catholic faith.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>In recent years, John enjoyed his many friendships made at the Shenandoah County Senior Center and Pine Meadow Adult Home. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 13.5pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-left: 0in; tab-stops: 400.5pt 463.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 9.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-left: 0in; tab-stops: 463.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rose Redmond Bullock.</span></p>

Bullock and wife Yvette of Woodstock, Va;<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>twelve <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>grandchildren, John G. Bullock III, Joshua S. Izzillo, Isaac M. Izzillo, James B. (Ben) Bullock, Toni M. Nutter, Travis D. Fairman, Samuel R. Fairman, Nickole L. Hackney,<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Michael J. Bullock, Justine M. Bullock, Thomas A. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span id="ctl00_ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContentPlaceHolder1_ObitText" style="font-size: 14px;">Kevin Matthew Custer, 47, of Mt. Jackson died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.</p>
<p>Mr. Custer was born October 16. 1965 in Shenandoah County, son of the late Norman Matthew and Geraline Mae Eaton Custer.<br />
He was a maintenance mechanic with Georgeás Inc. at Edinburg.</p>
<p>He was a member of Mt. Clifton United Methodist Church west of Mt. Jackson. He was also a member of the Mt. Jackson Moose Lodge # 979 and the New Market Fraternal Order of Eagles # 4264.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife, Carol Morrison Custer whom he married October 21, 2006. Also surviving are a step-daughter, Casey Morrison of Mt. Jackson; a step-son, Seth Morrison of Fort Valley; a sister, Brenda Wilder and husband Robert of Broadway; Normanás long time companion, Norma Morrison; seven nieces; four nephews; two great nephews; four uncles, five aunts; and numerous cousins and friends.</p>
<p>Graveside services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Clifton Community Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Early officiating.</p>
<p>Pallbearers will be Duane Stover, Dereck Shifflett, Jeff Custer, Doug Wilkey, Lee Custer and Travis Custer.</p>
<p>The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.</p>

<p><![endif]-->God has called you, “Clayton Lee Stout” to his everlasting glory with Christ. Clayton Lee Stout 73 of Strasburg died at his home Thursday, May 16, 2013.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, 2:00 pm at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock by Rev. Paul Campbell. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery, Edinburg.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mr. Stout was born December 27, 1939 at Fort Valley, Virginia. He was the son of the late Harvey Lee and Edith May Burner Stout. He was a graduate of Edinburg High School, class of 1959, a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Strasburg. Mr. Stout retired from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad with a perfect safety record after 31 ½ years as a Carman.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Clayton was a loving and caring father and will be remembered as a kind and gentle man. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He is survived by his wife Polly Stout of Strasburg; two daughters, Teresa McKelvey of Strasburg and Lisa Vann of Pasadena, MD; two grandchildren, Kingston Ruffner and John Trey Seibel, lll; an aunt, Jane Chrisman of Woodstock; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The family will receive friends Sunday evening at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock from 6 to 8 pm.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Honorary Pallbearers will be the Class of “59” of Edinburg High School and Railroad employees.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601 or Relay for Life, Shenandoah Hope, c/o Kitty Miller, 234 S. Massanutten Street, Strasburg, VA 22657.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, 11:00 am at the Faith Lutheran Church, Fort Valley by Rev Shelby DePriest. Burial will follow at Panorama Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mr. Coe was born at Nitro, WVA on June 18, 1936. He was the son of the late Elvin Lionel and June Irene Thompson Coe. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a self-employed truck driver.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Coe and wife, Lora of New Market, MD; two daughters, Jennifer Mantz and husband, Bill of Fort Valley, VA and Kimberly Biddle of Ranson, WVA; a brother, Ronald Gene Coe and wife, Ann of Fairfax, VA; A niece, Carrie Fary and husband, Keith of Centreville, VA and a nephew, Randle Coe of Manassas, VA; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.</p>

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph H. Ashley and Estelle Roberts Ashley, and brothers James Ashley of Montross, VA and Kenneth Ashley of Orange VA.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">Survivors include his sister Linda (M.B.) Neal of Clemmons, NC, brother, Col. C.B. (Beverly) Ashley of Charlotte, NC, sister-in-law Margaret Ashley of Mechanicsville, VA, daughter Cindy (Charlie) George of Woodstock, daughter Roberta (Rick) Dysart of Maurertown, son, Michael H. (Heather) Ashley Jr. of Woodstock and daughter, Michel (Teddy) Wakeman of Fairbanks, Alaska. He is also survived by six grand children and three great grand children.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">Michael attended grade and high school in Montross, VA and continued his education in the Virginia College System. He was an Army veteran having served as military police for two years in Germany.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">He was retired from the Virginia State Police where he served as a Special Agent. During his service, he was active in safety and was awarded the Division Safety Award for two years running. He was chosen to participate in a special safety project at sea in conjunction with the US Navy. During this project, he would fly to a Navy ship and present safety seminars to the sailors on the way back to Norfolk, VA.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">He contributed to his community by serving as a PTA President of the Woodstock Middle School for two years and organized Boy Scout Troop 88 where he served as the first Scout Master. In later years he served as Chairman of the Electoral Board.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">Michael belonged to the Virginia State Police Association, Virginia State Police Alumni, National Troopers Association, Democratic Party, the Woodstock Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Lodge, the VFW, and was a Kentucky Colonel.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';">Family night will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6-9 at Dellinger’s.  A Masonic service will begin at 6:00.  A full Virginia State Police Funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the Woodstock Presbyterian Church on May 18, 2013. Burial will be at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock, VA</span></span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal">Alger L. “Jack” Coffelt, 86, of Edinburg, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The funeral will be held Thursday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Pastor Bob Jones will officiate.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Burial, with military honors by Woodstock American Legion Post #199 will follow in Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mr. Coffelt was born October 3, 1926 in Edinburg, son of the late Norman H. and Nannie Miller Coffelt.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He was a 1944 graduate of Edinburg High School and an army veteran of World War II.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He retired as President of the Shenandoah County Division of F &amp; M Bank.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where he was former treasurer and youth director.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He was a member of American Legion Post #199, Edinburg Parish United Methodist Men and Shenandoah Lodge #82- IOOF.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He is survived by his wife, Alice Z. Gompers Coffelt whom he married on October 13, 1945; son, Jeffrey H. Coffelt and wife Kathy of Edinburg; daughter, Sandra C. Stickley of Edinburg; two brothers, Robert Coffelt of Middletown, Ohio and Kelly Coffelt and his wife Phyllis of Edinburg; two granddaughters, Amy L. Orndoff and husband Bill, and Carrie Anne Hodges and Roger Wilkins, and one great grandson, Michael Orndoff.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Boots.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Marvin Garnett Sigler, 94 of Mt. Jackson, Va. died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mr. Sigler was born January 16, 1919 in Hamburg, Va. son of the late John William and Fannie Moore Sigler.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He served in the United States Army during W.W. II in India.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mr. Sigler was a retired Clerk of Shenandoah County Circuit Court.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He was a member of St. Andrew&#8217;s Episcopal Church in Mt. Jackson.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Jackson Sigler, April 3, 1995.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He is survived by a son, Clemmitt Moore Sigler of Appomattox; three sisters Glenna Zirkle<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>and Jane Proctor both of Mt. Jackson, and Reba Kozak of Capitol Heights, Maryland; and a brother, Fred Sigler of Lebanon, Ohio.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Mr. Sigler was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Sigler of Mt. Jackson.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mt. Jackson, Va. with Rev. Alexander MacPhail officiating.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The family will receive friends following the service with a reception at the Mt. Jackson Town Center.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 117, Mt. Jackson, Va. 22842 or Shenandoah County Fair Association Building Fund, P.O. Box 264, Woodstock, Va. 22664.</p>

<p>She was born September 23, 1932 in Mt. Jackson, daughter of the late Eustace &#8220;Buster&#8221; C. Green and Frances Bowers Green Finks.</span></p>
<p><span id="ctl00_ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContentPlaceHolder1_ObitText" style="font-size: 14px;">Mrs. Eaton was a member of Windhaven Church in Mt. Jackson.</p>
<p>She was married September 29, 1973 to Richard &#8220;Pete&#8221; Allen Eaton who preceded her in death April 26, 1995.</p>
<p>She is survived by three sons, Lee Shamburg, Steve Shamburg and David Eaton, all of Mt. Jackson; three sisters, Virginia Barb of North Carolina, Lillian Hughes of New Market and Linda Borden of Edinburg; five grandchildren, Colleen Shamburg, Chandler Shamburg, Thomas Shamburg, Caleb Eaton and Ava Eaton.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with Rev. Brad Selan officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Jackson Cemetery.</p>
<p>Pallbearers will be Nephews, Rickey Green, Junior Green, Bobby Green, Andy Green, Doug Barb and David Hughes.</p>
<p>The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal">Joann Loretta George Wagner of Edinburg, Virginia passed away on May 7, 2013 at Greenfield Assisted Living of Woodstock.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Ms. Wagner was born September 23, 1948 in Shenandoah County, the daughter of John W. George Jr. and Essie Wetzel George.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>She was preceded in death by her father.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She is survived by her mother, Essie George of Woodstock; her sister Rita George Combs of Christiansburg, Virginia; her two brothers William George and wife Linda and Allan George and wife Lynette all of Woodstock; one niece Sarah Bickel and husband Ed of Maurertown; nephews Craig George and wife Mandy and Wesley George all of Woodstock; Dustin George and wife Morgan of Basye, and Casey Combs of Las Vegas, Nevada;<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>3 great nieces Grace George, Lucy George and Quinn Bickel; and 2 great nephews Henry George and Ari Bickel.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>She is also survived by her partner and best friend Kenny McCauley of Edinburg.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend and enjoyed spending time with those she held dear. In the past years Ms. Wagner was a member of the Women of the Moose Woodstock Chapter and the American Legion Auxiliary.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Ms. Wagner was employed by Georges Inc. of Edinburg and worked in Quality Control, retiring after 43 years.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A funeral service will be held at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.</p>
