Franklin Louis Johnson

Franklin L. Johnson 87 formerly of Woodstock passed away January 3, 2012 in Chester SC. Born March 11, 1924, he was the son of the late Edward and Ethel Rose Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Celestine Johnson and his daughter Priscilla Ann Stiles. He was also preceded in death by three brothers; Alfred Johnson, Stanley Johnson, and Donald Johnson and four sisters; Nora “Nookie” Mills, Naomi Duval, Catherine Mills, and Margaret Cline. Mr. Johnson was a WWII Navy veteran and a carpenter by trade. He was an avid rabbit and coon hunter and loved to garden. He is survived by his son-in-law Clifford Stiles; Grandchildren, Tina Horn and her husband Curtis, Clifford L. Stiles, Tammie Doran and her husband Rick, Amada Lutz and her husband Herby, and Ashley Bauserman and her husband Josh and six great-grandchildren, Brandon Horn, Bryce Horn, Tyler French, Tabb French, Trey French, and Hobbs Lutz.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock. A graveside service will be held Sunday, 2:30 pm at Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
