Gary Rudolph Loy

Gary Rudolph Loy, 64 of Woodstock passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center. Services will be Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Antioch Church of the Brethren. Pastor George Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-3 at the church.

Gary was born November 9, 1950 in Winchester. He was the son of the late Aubrey and Goldie Mowery Loy. He was a chef for the Travel Lodge in Winchester for several years. When Gary was able, he enjoyed gardening, cooking, and his cats and was fondly known as the “Old Chef.”

Gary is survived by his wife Roma Loy; stepson, Joe Edwards and wife Sonya; grandchildren, Ryan Edwards and wife Ashley and Matt Edwards; a great grandson, Walker Edwards; 4 brothers, Bobby Loy and wife Barbara, David Loy, Charles Loy, and William Loy; 2 sisters, Betty Locke and Linda Paugh and husband Allan. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
