Gladys Virginia Grove Miller

Gladys Virginia Grove Miller, 81, of Woodstock, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Hagerstown, Maryland.  The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 4 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.  Pastors Anna Havron and Joe Fleming will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery in Woodstock.

Mrs. Miller was born April 2, 1935 in Shenandoah County, daughter of the late Charles W.  and Hattie Florence Hinkle Grove.  She was a 1953 graduate of Woodstock High School and a school bus driver for 37 years for Shenandoah County.  She also formerly worked at Blue Bell, Woodstock Manufacturing and Woodstock Poultry. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at Fairview and attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Jerome. She enjoyed weaving rugs.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Dellinger and wife Bobbi and Kevin Miller and wife Shelly both of Maurertown; sister, Elsie Woods of Edinburg; grandchildren, Christina Kibler, Kevin Miller, Jr., Cody Miller, Cole Miller, Timmy Lockhart, Bryan Lockhart, Sean James and great grandchildren, Quinton, Evan, Kylie, Shelby, Skylar, Brandon and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Grove and grandson, Larry Lockhart.

Pallbearers will be Sean James, Cody Miller, Bryan Lockhart, Timmy Lockhart, Robert Shrum, Hunter Kibler, Freddie Miller and Randall Grove.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.at the funeral home.

Memorial contribution may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church 3055 Fairview Road, Woodstock, Virginia 22664.
