arms. They all send you big hugs & kisses and pray for you to “not be so sad and they love
you”. Gordon was a wonderful friend to so many and I don’t think that he knew just what
a kind and generous person he was to the people that knew him. I salute him for his many
years as a dedicated partriot for his service to our country. We love you Nancy and I will see

  10. Wayne D. and Bettie L. Clark says:

We think Gordon had found happiness from self-acceptance. He had some comfortable sense of who he was…which was a good thing, because he was a gentleman’s gentleman.
Bettie and I have come to realize that life is short and too few of those we know take enough time to gladden the hearts of those who travel the way with us. Not so with Gordon. He took the time. I think he acknowledged everyone that came to Eagle functions, and everybody liked him for it.
For a man his age he was high energy, maintained a strong presence and without even knowing it, served as a great model and ambassador for the Eagles. Just another of the many reasons why people loved Gordon. Let’s hope his brand of respect and courtesy stays with us in his passing.
Let’s hope by remembering him we will learn from him.
    Wayne and Bettie Clark
    Past Grand Presidents F.O.E.
