Grace Jean Fierro

Grace Jean Fierro, 91 of Harrisonburg, died Friday, December 2, 2016 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Fierro was born December 29, 1924 in New York, daughter of the late Joseph and Alexis Furlinger Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Anthony Fierro Jr. March 18, 1978.

Mrs. Fierro is survived by a daughter, Lori O’Sullivan of Raleigh, North Carolina; two sons, Dr. Arthur A. Fierro III of Harrisonburg and Lance J. Fierro of Randalsville, Maryland;  9 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. by Deacon Steve Clifford at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Arthur Fierro, Lance Fierro, Joshua Fierro, Nathan Fierro, Brendan O’Sullivan and George Farthing.

Friends and relatives may view Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.

She was such a lovely, warm, kind neighbor and friend for many years. The last time I had the pleasure of seeing Grace was at the Celebration we held for Mom.
