Grayden E. Helsley

Grayden E. Helsley, 80, of Edinburg, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Winchester Medical Center.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock. Reverend Richard Craver will officiate.

Mr. Helsley was born April 29, 1934 in Columbia Furnace, son of the late Hope and Gladys Cook Helsley.  He formerly worked as a delivery driver for NAPA.  He was a member of  Woodstock Moose Lodge.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann B. Helsley and sister, Anna Rush.

He is survived by three sons, Wayne E. Helsley and wife Dorie of Oranda, Gary L. Helsley of Winchester and Brian Kelly Helsley of Edinburg; one brother, Jerry Helsley and wife Shirley of Strasburg; six grandchildren, Crystal St. Clair and husband Randy, Michael Helsley, Cory Helsley, Mia Helsley, Kirstie Helsley and Ahne Helsley; eight great grandchildren, Cody St. Clair, Samantha St. Clair, Noah St. Clair, Sylis Helsley, Lola Helsley, Lilly Young, Nadia Berry and Kayle Berry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Helsley, Cory Helsley, Daryl Huffman, Berlin Cooper, Jack Frady, Chuck Herald and co-workers of NAPA.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7-8 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
