Helen Kay Baker

Helen Kay Baker, 64 of Quicksburg, died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Baker was born December 27, 1946 in New Market, daughter of George Gilbert Foltz, Jr. of Woodstock and the late Beatrice Viola Kohne Foltz.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie E. Baker whom she married March 15, 1964. Also surviving are two daughters, Robin Marquis of Mineral and Tracy Silvious of Mt. Jackson; two sons, Daniel Baker of Harrisonburg and Michael Baker of Quicksburg; four sisters, Beverly Passmore of Timberville, Alice Kenney of Strasburg, Wanda Runion and Gelia Kenney both of Edinburg; three brothers, Joseph Lynn Foltz and Floyd Foltz both of Mt. Jackson and Roy Foltz of Basye; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with the Rev. Louie Shafer officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Creek Church Cemetery in Basye.

Pallbearers will be David Miller, Ben Miller, Jon Henschel, Bo Wills, Joe Proctor and Tarrard Davis.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
