J. David Cochran, 91 of Middletown passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Blue Ridge Hospice. Services will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Reverend Howard Lutz will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
David was born January 15, 1927 in West Virginia. He was the son of the late French and Ethel Tonkin Cochran Sr. He served during WWII in the United States Army. He was a professional hunter and hunted all over the world. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Lou Cochran; a daughter, Linda Sue Casto and a brother, French Cochran, Jr.
David is survived by his wife, Doris Cochran; 5 sisters, Pastor Boots Alexander of Glendale, California, Juanita Walker of Bethesda, Ohio, Peggy Wampler of Falls Church, Virginia, Shirley Robertson of Manassas, Virginia and Wanda Andrick and husband Andy of Edinburg, son-in-law Bill Casto, and 1 granddaughter, Katie Casto Hynes and husband Patrick Hynes.
