Janet Louise Hoisington

Janet Louise Hoisington, 66, of Quicksburg, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab.

She was born February 13, 1951 in Washington, D.C.

She was a member of Valley Central Church in New Market.

Mrs. Hoisington is survived by her husband, Louis Hoisington. Also surviving are two sons, Jason Duhaime and Ross Duhaime.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Valley Central Church north of New Market with the Rev. Harold Wetzel and Rev. James Burke officiating.

Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bridgewater, Vermont.

    Janet was a very Special Lady! Such a brave woman….always smiling and giving the OK sign even when she may be feeling down! She will be missed so very much! We were so blessed to have known her. I will think of you Janet everytime I pick up my cable needle. Thank you for being such a great teacher…you marvelous lady! God is lucky to have you!

    Janet was an inspiration I believe to all who knew her. I loved the stories she shared with our Forestville Fellowship group and seeing the works of art she created with her hands – lovely needlework. She certainly was a blessing to all who knew her.
    I love how proud she was of her family and the love she has for all of them.
    She will certainly be missed by all.
    Louie – I know how much Janet appreciated your care for her and you know the love you two share is special.
