Joshua Ryley McClanahan, 32, of Woodstock, died Monday, May 29, 2017.
He was born October 7, 1984 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, son of Catherine McClanahan Hartsell and Larry Hartsell of Woodstock.
He received an Associate Degree in Business Management at Nashville Auto and Diesel Institute.
He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock.
He was a member of NVA Archery/Rifle Club.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by a sister, Alyssa Jackson of Woodstock; a brother, Robert Hartsell and his wife Rebecca of Mt. Jackson; grandparents, Howard and Rebecca McClanahan of Woodstock and Eloise Black of Mooresville, North Carolina; aunts, Ann McClanahan, Janis Spiliadis and Susan Alexander; uncles, Stavros Spiliadis, Charles Black and Andy Barrick; nephew Levi; nieces, Haily, Rylea, Kylea, and Zadie.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Faye McClanahan and aunt, Nancy McClanahan Sciala.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock with Pastor Nathan Robinson officiating. Burial will be private at Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock.
Pallbearers will be Shaun Nicholson, Mike Smith, Matt Conway, Uthel Smith, Scott O’Donnell and Josh Getz.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
