Karen Sue Waldron

Karen Sue Waldron, 64 of Quicksburg, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

She was born July 20, 1951 in Petersburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Leearl Edgar Sites, Sr. and Arlena Rebecca Thorne Sites.

She was a member of Flat Rock Church of the Brethren in New Market.

She is survived by her husband Steven Lawrence Waldron whom she married August 28, 1971. Also surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Powell of Verona and Crystal Hallman of Quicksburg. Four sisters, Blenda Will of New Market, Sherry Woods and Lorri Williams both of Quicksburg and Penny Marshall of Mt. Jackson; two brothers, Leearl (Eddie) Sites, Jr. of Quicksburg and Timmy Sites of Broadway; a granddaughter, Haley Hallman; and one step-grandson, Richard Hallman III.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Flat Rock Church of the Brethren with Rev. Charles Comer and Rev. Tim Sites officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Marshall, Darren Williams, Richard Hallman II, David Brown, Rickie Weaver and Jimmy Woods.

Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Williams Richard Hallman III, Cody Gale, Timmy Sites, Jeremy Crider, Jim Woods Jamie Hamilton.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
