Kathryn Funk Morrison

Kathryn “Kitty” Funk Morrison passed away on November 28th, 2016 at Consulate of Woodstock.

She was born December 1, 1928 in Strasburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Green Funk and William Spengler Funk.

She is survived by her son, Harold Morrison, III, (Lois) her son, Rex Morrison, (Yvonne); a grandson Jeffrey (Anne); a granddaughter, Abigail; a brother, Richard A. Funk (Janet); a brother-in-law, Ralph H. Combs of Woodstock and numerous nieces and nephews.  Her husband, Harold Morrison, Jr. predeceased her on September 15, 2016.

She graduated from Strasburg High School in 1945 and Shenandoah Business College (Palmer School of Business) in 1946.

Mrs. Morrison served a term on the Planning Commission for the Town of Woodstock, and formerly held the office of Secretary of the Woodstock Garage Corporation.

She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, and was active in many projects with the women of the church.

A memorial service will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Nathan Robinson officiating.

Burial will be private.

If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
