Laco Lee (Peck) Dellinger

Laco Lee (Peck) Dellinger, 84 of Edinburg died Monday, August 29, 2011.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011, 10:00 AM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jerome by Rev. Kathryn Schroeder. Burial will follow at the church Cemetery.

Mr. Dellinger was born at Jerome on June 8, 1927, the son of the late Willard and Stella Hambleton Dellinger. He served in the United States Marines, was employed by Standard Brands, Inc. and later trained as a barber. He was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Mr. Dellinger is survived by his loving wife, Ellen H. Dellinger; two sons, Jeffrey L. Dellinger and wife, Denise of Jerome and Charles S. Dellinger and wife, Jean of Manassas; two granddaughters, Kristina and Erica Dellinger and a great grandson, Kaleb Jelinek.

The family will receive friends at the home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM and friends may call at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock  from 11 AM to 5 PM.

The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 4109 Jerome Road, Edinburg, Virginia 22824, and The American Cancer Society, c/o Martha R. Good, P.O. Box 321, Woodstock, Virginia 22664 or the RMH Hospice, 2010 Health Campus Drive, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22801.
