Larry William Seal

Larry William Seal, 70 of Woodstock passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Valley Pike Church of the Brethren. Reverends William Garber and Jonathan Fletcher will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Seal was born November 14, 1944 in Woodstock. He was the son of the late John Seal and Dorothy Holsinger Seal Walker. He was a member of the Valley Pike Church of the Brethren where he served on various church commissions. He worked 46 years as an Engineering Tech III with Virginia Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Cindy Seal and Wayne Seal.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Ann Ryman Seal; a son, Chuck Seal of Edinburg, 2 daughters, Tammy Seal Hoye and husband Joe of Edinburg and Angela Seal of Woodstock; a sister, Linda Mason and husband Robert of Maurertown; a brother, Terry Seal and wife Cindy of Woodstock; 8 grandchildren, Joe Allen Fleming, Jeremy Fleming, Tiffany Fleming, Tyler Bosserman, Jenny Immanuel, Becky Immanuel, Hannah Seal, and Nathan Seal; and a great grandson, Ryan Hoffman.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to, Mt. Carmel Orphanage, make checks out to Valley Pike Church of the Brethren and in memo line notate orphanage or Blue Ridge Hospice 333 W. Cork St. Winchester, Virginia 22601.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6-8 P.M.
