Lelia Irene Rush Buchanan White, 71, of New Market, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. White was born January 29, 1941 in Edinburg, daughter of the late Charles Henry and Mildred Coffelt Rush .
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in New Market.
Mrs. White was married August 16, 1980 to Larry Lee White, Sr. who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Weatherholtz and husband Garrett of Mt. Jackson, and Brenda Smootz and husband Terry of Edinburg; two sons, Richard Buchanan, Jr. of Mt. Jackson and Larry J. White and wife Jan of New Market; two step-sons, Larry Lee White, Jr. of Harrisonburg and Jamie Lee White of Red Creek, WVA; two sisters, Norma Wolverton of Edinburg and Barbarba Shields of Stephens City; four brothers, Clarence Rush of Broadway, Park Rush of Woodstock, Charles Rush of Hampton, and Curley Rush of Utah; three sisters-in-law, Connie Miller of Riverton, WVA, Patty Miller of Mount Seneca, WVA and Wyoma Lee Orebaugh of Broadway; two brothers in law, Carlton White of Broadway and Golden Helmick of WVA; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Union Forge Church with Rev. Tony Cubbage officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
