Linda Carole (Barton) Jett, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Royal Haven in Front Royal, Virginia. She was born May 29, 1947 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, the daughter of Fred F. Barton and Edith Wilt Barton.
Linda graduated from Central High School in 1965 and Denard’s Beauty Academy in 1966. She also studied interior design at Madison College. Linda was a hairdresser and operated a beauty salon in her home for many years. She was later employed by Wrangler in Woodstock and the Virginia ABC Store. She was talented and creative, with a keen eye for interior design. She loved cats and John Wayne movies. Linda was a wonderful homemaker; and to those who knew her as their friend, she was a true friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than thirty years, George (Mose) Jett. She is survived by many cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Valley Pike Church of the Brethren, Maurertown, Virginia on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Jonathan Fletcher will officiate.
