Lloyd “Buddy” Malcolm Good, 77, of Mt. Jackson, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.
Mr. Good was born November 20, 1935 in Stanley, son of the late Gilbert Trenton and Lucy Virginia Breeden Good.
He served in the United States Army.
He worked for 19 ½ years at Aileen Inc. in Edinburg and was a former employee of Farmers Supply in Mt. Jackson.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Forestville. He was also a former member of the Mt. Jackson Moose Lodge #979.
Mr. Good is survived by his wife, Margaret Ellen Lutz Good whom he married May 7, 1960. Also surviving are three daughters, Sharon Jones and her husband Randy and Donna Sine and her husband Andrew all of Mt. Jackson and Sandra Taylor and her husband David of Quicksburg; a sister, Lizzie M. Housden of Stanley; a brother, Isaac Gene Goode of Stanley; three grandchildren, Jennifer Wimer, Jeremy Jones and Nathan Sine; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with the Rev. James Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Hudson Cross Roads Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Weaver, Freddie Weaver, Jerry Hines, James Miller, Jr., Gary Wilkins and Ralph Lonas.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Mt. Jackson.
