Lucille Knupp McGlaughlin

Lucille Knupp McGlaughlin, 87, of Mt. Jackson, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Mt. Jackson.

She was born May 16, 1924 in Newberry, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Herbert and Zada Eaton Tusing.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Forestville.

In 1941 she married Rufus F. Knupp  and they had three daughters; Judy K. Kibler and her husband Irving, Jr. of Toms Brook, Jean K. Bowman and her husband Noel of Mt. Jackson, and Linda K. Burner and her husband Dickie of Edinburg.  Mr. Knupp passed away  November 28,  1972. Mrs. McGlaughlin is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She married Joseph “Bill” McGlaughlin in December 1981 and he passed away in March 1991. She had two brothers, Kedrick and Arthur Tusing, both of whom preceded her in death.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with the Rev. James B. Davis and Rev. Louie Shafer officiating. Burial will follow at Forestville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Riggleman, Ronnie Armentrout, Billy Tusing, Keith Knupp, Kenneth Knupp and Fred Miller.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
