Lucy Alice Neff Romick

Lucy Alice Neff Romick, 74, of Woodstock, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at her home.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock. Reverend Howard Lutz will officiate.

Mrs. Romick was born September 19, 1936 in Woodstock, daughter of the late Louis Basket and Dorothy Eaton Neff. She worked for Blue Bell in Woodstock for 26 years, was a member of Maurertown Brethren Church and Woodstock Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Neff and sister, Sarah Mauck.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harry Richard Romick, whom she married on April 21, 1957; daughter, Cheri Lynn Romick at home and her fiancé, Garland Mumaw of Edinburg; two brothers, David Neff of Toms Brook and Freddie Neff of Edinburg; two sisters, Imogene Lann of Dillwyn, VA and Mary Grove of Woodstock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.

Lucy loved her cats and birds and enjoyed playing Bingo. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
