Madeline Kay Grim

Madeline Kay Grim, 74 of Mt. Jackson, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Sentara RMH Medical Center at Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Grim was born September 24, 1940 in Shenandoah County, daughter of the late Benjamin Earl and Lelia Bell Sheetz Silvious.

Mrs. Grim retired from Lear in Strasburg.

She was a member of Brighter Days Bible Church in Mt. Jackson.

She was a 1960 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Grim whom she married June 2, 1962;  also surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Presgraves and Teresa (Carroll) Richardson all of Mt. Jackson; three grandchildren, Andrew Presgraves, Dwayne (Amanda) Richardson and Jessica Richardson; and two great grandchildren, Timothy James Richardson and Daniel Richardson.

A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Panorama Memorial Gradens in Strasburg with the Rev. Larry Rinard officiating. Please dress causal.

Pallbearers will be Harvey Grim, Tommy Grim, Andrew Presgraves, Carroll Richardson, Mike Grim and Jessica Richardson.

The family will be at the home of Carroll and Teresa Richardson where friends may visit. There will be no public viewing per her request.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Jackson Rescue and Fire Department, P.O. Box 251, Mt. Jackson, VA 22842.

Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
