Nina Barb Good, 103, of Woodstock departed her earthly life on Friday, April 11, 2014 at The Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Good was born June 9, 1910 in Basye, Virginia, daughter of the late Willie and Vinnie Funkhouser Barb. She was the last living member of her eight siblings and the oldest active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jerome.
The funeral will be conducted Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock by the Reverend James Baseler. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.
Mrs. Good was married to Raymond Bon Good for 63 years, who predeceased her in 1992. She is survived by her children, Betty J. Dellinger and husband, Raymond; William D. Good and wife, Martha; and Patricia A. Good, all of Woodstock. Mrs. Good is also survived by her three granddaughters, Alesia Good Livesay and husband, Steve; Candace Dellinger Hottel and husband, Phil; and Amy Good Bauserman and husband, Kenny. Her five great-grandchildren are Nickolas and Kayla Livesay, Zachary Hottel, Seth and Hayden Bauserman, and foster great-grandson, Bill Bowley.
Pallbearers will be grandsons-in-law and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 14 from 7:00-8:30 pm at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
