Norma Jean “Jeanie” Poole

Norma Jean “Jeanie”  Poole, 55, of Eads, Tennessee and formerly of Mt. Jackson, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

She was born February 14, 1959 in Harrisonburg, daughter of the late Preston and Vivian Lamma Poole.

She was a graduate of Central High School in Woodstock, VA.

Miss Poole was a member of Morning Star Lutheran Church in Mt. Jackson.

She is survived by two sisters, Ginger Rich of Eads, Tennessee and Doris Brackenrich of Franklin, West Virginia; and a brother, Richard H. Bowman of Midlothian.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Bowman.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Lutheran Church with the Rev. Katie Gosswein officiating. Burial will follow in Morning Star Church Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be SEARCH, Inc. Board Members and Residents of the SEARCH Group Home.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.

    When Jeanie moved away after her mom died, I missed the big hug and smile I always got when she came to the hospital. I really missed Vivan, Fondly Sue Kline

      Thank you for your comment Sue. I am Jeanie’s sister Doris. I am comforting myself with the fact that Jeanie and Mom are reunited in Heaven, along with our dad.
