Roy Curtis Obituary
Roy Henry Curtis, 67, of Edinburg, Virginia, passed into the arms of his Lord Saturday, June
16, 2018 at Blue Ridge Hospice with his loving wife by his side. He was born Saturday,
September 23, 1950 in Fredericksburg, Virginia to the late Mr. & Mrs. William Walter Curtis.
He was a wonderful, loving husband and father. Roy enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing
and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Curtis, 3 daughters, Jeanna Woodrum (James) of Kentucky,
Renee Thompson (Brent) of Milford, VA, Lori Cross (David) of Bunker Hill, WV; siblings,
William Curtis Jr., of Alabama, Deborah Burrell of North Carolina, Brenda Darland of Virginia, Larry Curtis of Virginia; and was a grandfather to 8 grandchildren. He left behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Wilson, and 3 siblings, Alice Martin,
Ray Luck, and Kevin Curtis.
A celebration of life will be held on September 23, 2018 (location TBD).
