Owen Wilson Larrick

Owen Wilson Larrick, 96, of Mt. Jackson died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock.

Mr. Larrick was born October 3, 1919 in Mt. Jackson, son of the late Arthur Wilson and Florence Lorena Jordan Larrick.

He served in the United States Navy during W. W. II.

Mr. Larrick was a graduate of Shenandoah College in Dayton, VA and Strayer School of Accounting in Washington, D. C.

He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mt. Jackson. He was also a member of the Mt. Jackson Lions Club in Mt. Jackson.

He was a bookkeeper at Hearty Virginia Inc. in Mt. Jackson for 39 years prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death  September 5, 1999 by his wife, Elizabeth V. Whitmer Larrick whom he married October 26, 1940.

He is survived by three daughters, Donna L. Heishman of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Sharon L. Lilly of Naples, Florida and Doris J. Robinson of Orlando, Florida; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

Funeral services will be Thursdayt, October 8, at 2 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with the Rev. Glen Early officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Jackson Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Proctor. Ronald Zerkel, Phil Bowman, Joedy Sheets, Peter Jordan.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
