Paul Mark Keckley, 91, of Edinburg, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Greenfield in Woodstock. The funeral will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Reverend Robert Berghuis will officiate. Burial with military honors by Edinburg VFW Post #2447 will follow in Union Forge Cemetery in Edinburg.
Mr. Keckley was born June 8, 1921 in Wardensville, West Virginia, son of the late John F. and Harriet Glenn Keckley. He graduated from Wardensville High School and was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He worked for C.E. Thompsons in Edinburg for over 30 years. He was a member of Union Forge United Methodist Church, Edinburg VFW Post #2447 and life member of Hunter Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Kingree Keckley; son, John Keckley and his wife Dawn of Virginia Beach; daughter, Karen Hughes and her husband, Ed of Kelso, Washington; five grandchildren, Jonathan Mattison, Joshua Mattison, Aaron Keckley, Nathan Keckley and Ben Keckley; two great grandchildren, Nathan Mattison and Kristen Mattison and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Heishman, Brooks Irwin, Doug Painter, Ronnie Riffey, Joshua Mattison and Aaron Keckley.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
