Pearl Elizabeth Clem, 89, of Mt. Jackson, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at Dutch Haven Adult Care Residence in Maurertown.
Mrs. Clem was born January 31, 1923 in Shenandoah County, daughter of the late John Calvin Wealthy, Sr. and Mary Frances Dodson Wealthy.
She was a member of the Mt. Jackson United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Clem September 6, 1977.
Mrs. Clem is survived by two daughters, Betty Lineweaver and her husband Alger and Dorothy Sigler both of Mt. Jackson; three brothers, Guy Wealthy of Mt. Jackson, Calvin Wealthy of Woodstock, John Calvin Wealthy, Jr. of Alexandria; five grandchildren, Brenda Morgan of Roanoke, Robert Sigler and wife Cary of Edinburg, Mary Weaver and husband Steve of Mt. Jackson,; Jean Peer of Woodstock and Connie Hepler and husband Brian of Mt. Jackson; three great grandchildren, Sara Morgan, Rebecca Sigler and Julia Sigler.
She was preceded in death by a twin sister, Mary Belle Romick; and three brothers, Ray Wealthy, Fred Wealthy and Clayton Wealthy.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Jackson Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Dettmer officiating.
Pallbearers will be Steve Weaver, Brian Hepler, Billy Wealthy, Mark Wealthy, Jerry Wealthy and Warren Hepler.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
