Phoebe Louise Bemis Ambrose

Phoebe Louise Bemis Ambrose, 91, of New Market, widow of Randolph M. Ambrose, died on July 4, 2013 at Consulate Health Care.

Services are to be private.

Mrs. Ambrose was born on September 8, 1921 at Woodstock, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Granville and Georgia McWilliams Bemis. She was a member of the United Church of Christ and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Ambrose is survived by her son Richard Lee Ambrose and his wife, Judy of New Market; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Woodstock Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 221, Woodstock, Virginia 22664.

    TO ALL OF THE FAMILY, I WISH YOU PEACE AND COMFORT AT THIS TIME,AUNT BEAMER WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE SUCH A GREAT WOMEN TO ME,I THOUGHT HER AND UNCLE DOTTIE WERE THE BEST 2 PEOPLE IN THE WORLD,I KNOW THE HEAVENS OPENED UP TO BRING ANOTHER ANGEL HOME,AND I KNOW NANA AMBROSE,UNCLE DOTTIE AND DAD WERE THERE WAITING WITH OPEN ARMS FOR AUNT BEAMER,MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHT WILL BE WITH ALL OF YOU AND THE FAMILY.
