Robert Daniel Morris, 75, of Woodstock, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, in Life Care Center of New Market.
Born in Mahanoy City, PA, in the anthracite coal region, Bob grew up one of 12 children in an Irish Catholic household.
He attended Mahanoy City High School in Mahanoy City, PA. He was the son of Eleanor and Henry Morris.
Bob enjoyed watching sports, especially the Redskins, reading newspapers, lively political discussions and watching old movies. He was raised in a political environment as his father ran for governor of PA. He also enjoyed telling wonderful stories about growing up in such a large family. He grew up in a happy, lively home. He was a loving son who took care of his Mother until her passing. His 30 year career as a salesman included an adventurous move to Phoenix, AZ in the 1980′s where he owned and operated a retail vacuum cleaner store.
Bob is survived by his sister, Eleanor Robertson. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father, Henry and Eleanor; his sisters, Ruth, Helen and Kathryn; and his brothers, Arthur, Henry, John, Joseph, Thomas, Charles and Richard. He is also survived by 4 sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and great-grand-nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
