Robert Edward Wymer, 54, of Edinburg, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock. The funeral will be held at Wednesday, January 19th at 2 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Reverend Steve McMillion will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.
Mr. Wymer was born April 28, 1956 in Woodstock, son o f Mary Lou Getz Wymer of Maurertown and the late Robert Brisco Wymer. He graduated from Central High School in 1974 and was an Assistant Part Manager for Grubbs Chevrolet in Woodstock where he worked since 1974. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Edinburg, a Boy Scout leader for Troop #54 and a member of Buck Lick Hunt Club in West Virginia.
Surviving, along with his mother, are his wife, Fay Miller Wymer; two sons, Dustin Wymer and his wife, Margaret of Chesapeake, VA and Jacob Wymer and his fiancée, Tori of Edinburg; two brothers, Kenneth Wymer of Maurertown and Michael Wymer and his wife, Terri of Edinburg; nieces and nephews, David and his wife Audrey, Kirsten, Allison, Daphine, Casey, Cody, Natalie, Tim, Lance, Rylee, Matthew, Nikolyn, Colby, Megan, Craig, Justin, Jeremy, Shaun, Amanda, Taylor, and Seth; mother-in-law, Mary I. Miller of Woodstock and brothers and sisters-in-law, Shirley and Carl, Otie and Robin, Cookie and Gary, Mike and Debbie and Joe and Susan. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Otis W. Miller Sr.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Wymer, Dustin, Wymer, Kenneth Wymer, Michael Wymer, Seth Wymer and Shaun Wymer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grubbs Chevrolet and Buck Lick Hunt Club.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved going to the beach and his Maryland Terrapins. He will be greatly missed by his friends and his family who he loved dearly.
