Rosemary Ann Dinges, 83 of Woodstock passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her home. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Reverend Barbara Rhodes and Derek Ritenour will officiate.
Rosemary was born April 26, 1931 in St. Luke. She is the daughter of the late Silas and Susie Smoot Kibler. She was a lifetime member at Mt. Calvary United Church of Christ where she served on the consistory and as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She graduated from Woodstock High School and attended Shenandoah Business College. She retired from Shenandoah Mutual in 1996 after 47 years and was an avid gardener. Rosemary loved serving her community as a volunteer for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Dinges in 2000.
She is survived by a brother, James A. Kibler; a nephew, David Kibler and wife Patricia, her special niece and caregiver of Woodstock; a niece, Ann Hurst and husband Steve of Winchester, and a cousin, Kathy Olley of Chapel Hill N.C.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday from 6-8 at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
