Stuart Edward Dellinger

Stuart Edward Dellinger, 60, of Mt. Jackson died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Dellinger was born September 27, 1951, in Shenandoah County, son of the late Dennie Edward and Lelia Josephine Lamma Dellinger.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Sue Dellinger of 37 years, whom he married November 17, 1974.

He is also survived by two sons, Jeremy Dellinger and his wife Kimberly Lane of Mt. Jackson and Kevin Dellinger and his wife Jennifer Dawn of Timberville; a sister, Dorothy Knicely of Harrisonburg; four brothers, David Dellinger and Douglas Dellinger both of Mt. Jackson, Freddie Dellinger of Linville and Richard Dellinger of South Boston; four grandchildren that he love very much, Autumn Dellinger, Jailyn Dellinger, Alyxandra Dellinger and Hayden Dellinger.

He was predeceased by a sister, Ardella “Sissy” Dellinger and two brothers, Harold Dellinger and Weldon Dellinger.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with the Rev. James Burke officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
