Wallace Clegg Murden

Wallace “Wally” Clegg Murden, 70, of Woodstock, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.

He was born June 14, 1946 in Front Royal, son of the late Archie William and Lillie Mae Clegg Murden.

He was a retired truck driver. He was a former member of the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department, Woodstock Moose and Sons of the Woodstock American Legion.

Mr. Murden is survived by a daughter, Tammy Polk of Edinburg; two sons, Chad Murden of New Market and Bryant Murden of Springfield, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Polk.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 30 at 7 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock with the Rev. Freddie Helsley officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

    My condolences to the Murden Family! I have many fond memories of Wally he was always willing to lend a hand and always seemed to know how to fix things.
