William J. Fulcher

William J. Fulcher, 85, of Woodstock passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his home. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 9 at 2:00 P.M. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1-2 on Sunday. Pastors Tyrone Gheen and Paul Markee will officiate.


Mr. Fulcher was born March 13, 1928 in Hartford County Maryland. He was the son of the late Edgar and Okie Hodge Fulcher. He was an U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the World Pentecostal Mission in Mt. Olive.


He is survived by 2 sons, Roger Fulcher of Williamsport MD, and David Fulcher of Mt. Jackson; 5 daughters, Shirley Owens of Front Royal, Janet Rinker of Woodstock, Judy Hall of Lakeland Fla., Linda Rinker of Middletown, and Mary Ann McCauley of Woodstock; and 1 sister, Grey Patrick of Damascus Va.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Erdene Fulcher; a son, Eddie Fulcher and numerous siblings.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Winchester Hospice, 333 W. Cork St. Winchester, Virginia 22601.

    Sorry to hear that Uncle Bill has passed on. He has had a full life , memories of him will be with us all forever.
    I can see in my mind my mother, his sister ( Mamie Ruth Fulcher Barnhart ) talking together in the house I grew up in.
    Rest easy Uncle bill and watch over us.
