William Kirby Mader

William Kirby Mader, 66, of New Market, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock.

Mr. Mader was born July 14, 1946 in West Caldwell, New Jersey, son of Jean Marek Mader of Mt. Jackson and the late William Hugo Mader, Jr.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 510. Mr. Mader received the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was also authorized to wear the Cold War Era Veteran Insignia.

He is also survived by a son, William Caleb Mader of Tumwater, Washington.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Jackson Cemetery with Rev. Matthew A. Diehl officiating. Full Military Honors will follow by Massanutten Post # 2447 V. F.W. Edinburg and Muhlenberg Post # 199 American Legion Woodstock.

Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
